Casual Atmosphere
At Heartland, we focus on the heart more than on the
outward appearance. When you come to one of our weekend services, you will find
people dressed in a wide variety of styles from as casual as jeans or shorts to
a smaller number dressed more formally. Most people find themselves somewhere
in the middle, just be sure to dress so that you will be relaxed and able to
get the greatest possible impact from our service.
Engaging Worship
When you step into a Heartland
weekend experience, the overall tone you'll find is one of celebration and joy,
where we are holding nothing back in worship of our God. The energy level is
high. The music is current and our worship band is incredible. We believe God uses the medium of music
to lead us into the heart of worship. We place a great deal of importance on our music and all of our audio
visual presentations.
Relevant Teaching
At Heartland, we believe that the
gospel is the foundation for everyday life. For that
reason, it is the centerpiece of every worship gathering. Every worship service at Heartland is a
passionate response to the life, death, and resurrection of Jesus Christ. We believe the Bible is God’s revealed
truth and is our personnel manual for living life. Pastor Ed teaches God’s Word in a practical “hands on” fashion
so we can apply it to our daily lives.
